Founded in 1984 by Dr. Murray McEwen, now owned by Dr. Matt McManus and Dr. Christine Martinovich, our clinic operates on a foundation of open communication and integrity. After gaining significant industry experience, the office was opened to provide accessible chiropractic treatment; giving back to the community through skillful practice.

DR. MURRAY MCEWEN

Dr. Murray McEwen, our founder and clinic director, continues to be heavily involved in the chiropractic profession, achieving numerous accolades throughout his thirty-nine-year career. These successes include graduating Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1984 and serving as Chairman of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board for 12 years. Dr. McEwen has conducted research at the University of Calgary Human Performance Lab and has published numerous academic studies dealing with Chiropractic education. He utilizes traditional manual Chiropractic methods as well as having a special interest in sports injuries and acute trauma disorders, including motor vehicle and work injuries. As a member in good standing with both the College of Chiropractors of Alberta and the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Murray continues to give back to his patients, his profession, and his community.
 
Dr. McEwen's compassionate approach to patient care is strongly rooted in his personal story. An avid skier and golfer, he knows the joys and challenges of participating in an active lifestyle and ensures that the clinic provides support to individuals suffering from movement-related injuries. Dr. McEwen’s caring and respectful method of dealing with patients is strengthened by him being the proud father of three adult children.
DR. MATT MCMANUS
Specializing in Chiropractic Adjustments, Headache Treatments, Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries, and Sports Injuries... Dr. McManus hails from Fargo, North Dakota. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, in 2013. During his time in Chiropractic school, he also earned a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He moved to Calgary in 2015 to be with his now-wife, Christine.
 
Matt’s reason for becoming a chiropractor was the tremendous experience he had with his own chiropractor as a young athlete playing numerous sports year-round. With his passion for sports, he knew he wanted to help others heal better, stay active longer, and get back to doing the things they love. By combining proven Chiropractic treatments with Active Muscle Release with specialized Sports Medicine practices, he strives to provide a variety of techniques and the highest level of care that benefit people from all walks of life.
 
In his free time, you will find Matt on the diamond playing ball, on the golf course, at the mountains skiing, being active outside with his two dogs, and spending time with his beautiful wife and two young children.
DR. CHRISTINE MARTINOVICH
Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Dr. Martinovich specializes in Chiropractic Adjustments combined with Active Muscle Release Therapy as well as GRASTON techniques to treat all forms of soft tissue pain and injury. She believes that a muscle and joint approach to every problem helps get her patients out of pain in the shortest amount of time and achieve the best possible outcomes! 
Graduating from University of Western States Chiropractic College in 2013 she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic as well as her Masters Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She then moved back to Calgary to provide superior chiropractic care to her home town. She furthered her education by perusing a personal passion of hers to become certified in Animal Chiropractic, mainly Dogs and Horses!
