What is WCB "Workers' Compensation Board Chiropractic Coverage?

The Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) may cover your chiropractic treatment if you suffered an injury while on the job. This includes injuries caused by:
  • Lifting or pulling
  • Repetitive strain
  • Slips, trips, or falls
  • Car accidents while working
  • Sudden movements or overexertion
  • Workplace impacts or collisions

If/When your claim is approved, WCB pays for your chiropractic visits directly.
No out-of-pocket cost to you.

Up to 6 Weeks of treatment based upon the chiropractors treatment plan. Treatment extensions may be requested based on symptoms and re-examination.

How to Start a WCB Claim
If you have a work-related injury:
  1. Report the injury to your employer with paperwork if required.
  2. Visit a chiropractor immediately for assessment. Your first visit opens your WCB claim.
  3. We help submit necessary treatment documentation to WCB on your behalf.
  4. Begin your approved treatment plan once your claim is active.

What to Expect at Your WCB Visit
  1. Assessment of Your Injury
    We identify the root cause of your pain and create a customized treatment plan.
  2. Direct WCB Billing
    If your claim is active/approved, we bill WCB directly—no additional cost to you.
  3. Personalized Treatment Plan
    Treatments may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, stretching, mobility work, and rehab exercises.
  4. Progress/Discharge Reports for WCB
    We communicate your recovery progress directly with WCB so you don’t have to.
